Loved our experience at Scratch and so glad to have them in the neighborhood! The new seating arrangement is nice, wonderful smells coming from the open kitchen where the pasta is made from, you guessed it, scratch, very attentive service from all staff, and lovely Italian dishes. The menu does not overwhelm: a dozen or so main dishes that are done to perfection. The beverages are nice, and there’s a good selection of “mock tails,” which is nice if you’re not a drinkers. Recommend going early on weekends...this place is already very popular! Highly, highly recommend!!
Had a delicious meal tonight. No reservations were available, so we ate at the bar. Kori was our server and did a fantastic job. My husband, son and I had appetizers, salad and entrees. We also had dessert ( tiramisu and cannoli). I wanted the butternut squash ravioli, but they were sold out. Opted for the rigatoni with peas and walnuts so good. Will definitely go again.
Our dinner was so fresh, flavorful and delicious! The lump crab meat with pasta was an absolute delight! Everything from the fresh focaccia to the cappuccino after dinner! We were greeted right away and our server was friendly! Our new favorite restaurant!
This is my third visit and I can easily see it becoming one of my favorite dining establishments in Beaufort. The wait staff, the hostess every single person is so kind and knowledgeable and efficient. Cocktails are amazing, the appetizers are phenomenal – probably the best calamari I have ever eaten. So very thrilled to see an authentic Italian restaurant here in Beaufort.
I so wish this place was downtown for the views and it would be perfect. Food is good, I feel you get what you pay for in proportions. Drinks are STRONG. The staff is friendly and easygoing.
First time coming in since they switched from Fat Patties. Food was great, was not busy at all, server was attentive and knowledgeable with the menu. Reading the reviews we were nervous about trying. I am glad we did. The only thing we definitely did not care for was the EVOO for focaccia bread it was plain and too much rosemary herb taste..... a big no. Other than that everything else was good.
The chicken marsala was delicious. Alicia, the servers was extremely attentive and super nice. Quite an enjoyable experience...
Definitely the best Italian restaurant in Beaufort. The pasta is a little heavy for me but overall everything is wonderful. One of my favorite things is the dipping bread. Oh and the lemomcello. Hannah has waited on us several times and she is very attentive and sweet.
